This is the world's first ever Tudorcon event, and you will want to be part of this inaugural weekend!

Mark your calendars for 18 - 20 October for a weekend of friendship and community, learning with educational talks, and festive merriment on the grounds of the gorgeous Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. Tudorcon will bring together Tudor history enthusiasts with those who write and talk about Tudor history in a unique event.

Our private event will happen in a newly restored winery adjacent to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. We kick off on Friday evening with a welcome party with period music and refreshments. Then on Saturday the real fun starts, with six talks from leading Tudor historians and authors. A catered lunch will be provided so we can continue to meet new friends and have good discussions without having to leave.

Sunday we come back for another morning of talks and learning, followed by a medieval feast and private entertainment from the Faire.

I am still in the final planning and budgeting stages, and hadn't planned on selling tickets until then anyway, but several people in the Tudor History Summit Facebook group messaged me saying they wanted to ask for a ticket for a Christmas present, so I'm making them available now.

What's Included?

- A small group, with ticket sales limited to 120, so you will be able to really meet people, make friendships, and talk with the speakers.

- Ten talks from leading Tudor historians and authors (for an idea of what kinds of talks will happen, check out the previous online Tudor Summits I've produced).

- Plenty of opportunities to meet new Tudor friends, and come away having learned about your favorite period in time, and enjoyed period entertainment with others who share your passion.

- The welcoming party on Friday evening, including music and refreshments.

- The medieval feast on Sunday afternoon, including private entertainment.

- Lunch on Saturday.

- A ticket to the Renaissance Faire.

After I register, what happens?

We will contact you soon with directions, hotel recommendations (there are plenty nearby as the Renaissance Faire is just off an exit off the PA Turnpike), and an invitation to join the private Facebook Group where we will all have a chance to get to know each other before the event.

We will be offering other optional events on Friday afternoon and Saturday evening, so as those are finalized we'll send you information. On Friday we're planning a hands on fiber arts demonstration where you can use a spinning wheel and loom, just like a Tudor housewife! On Saturday there will be an optional trip into Lancaster city to have dinner as a group. So as those plans are nailed down, we'll be able to send you more information and registration for them.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are not refundable, but they ARE transferrable.

I want to speak at Tudorcon. How do I get on the schedule?
Talk times will likely go quickly. Get in touch with Heather and pitch your talk.

I want to sponsor something at Tudorcon. How do I do that?
We have sponsorship opportunities available for the right businesses, including sponsoring the Friday night party, or the Sunday feast. All sponsorships will come with generous marketing opportunities, including ads on the newly launching Tudor Radio Network, in newsletters, and in marketing materials given to registrants. We'd love any and all sponsorship ideas, so get in touch with Heather.

Who are you, Heather, and what on earth is Tudorcon?
Hey there - I'm Heather, and in 2009 I created the Renaissance English History Podcast, making it one of the longest continuously running indie history podcasts. In 2017 I created the first Tudor Summit, an online virtual weekend event bringing together leading Tudor historians and authors for an online event. Over 1500 people have downloaded the videos, and watching the community and friendships spring up in the online groups with that, the idea came to me to put together a live event. I've long wondered why a Tudorcon doesn't exist already. It's time to make it a reality! Oh, and I also run this shop - TudorFair.com - which sells lovingly designed and curated items inspired by Tudor history.
