Sunday Relaxation: Henry VIII Coloring Pages

About a year or so ago I bought The Secret Garden coloring book for adults because I loved all the intricate designs.  Coloring has become the new Thing For Stressed Out People To Do To Relax, and I now have 2 Johanna Basford coloring books, a lovely assortment of fine point markers and pens, and the Colorfy app on my phone.  For those of you who are Harry Potter fans, there’s going to be a Harry Potter coloring book coming out in November.  Because Severus Snape is both a sex-symbol and an object on which my 2 year old can scribble.

Anyway, all that is just to say that I figured out a way to create your own coloring pages out of photos, and to try it out I used a bunch of public domain photos of my favorite people and places.  So here you go – a present to you lovely readers so you can have a relaxing Sunday afternoon.  Just print these puppies out and color away.  Or you can get snazzy and do them in photoshop, though I’m not sure that the stress-reducing properties make the digital divide.  I’d love to see your finished products!  Take a picture and tweet or instagram them to me – @teysko and @hteysko respectively.  Happy Coloring!
