Anne Boleyn was a busy lady. When she wasn't writing poetry and music, having been greatly influenced by the artistic and glittering court of Margaret of Austria, she was busy fighting off the sweating sickness. If she wasn't importing illegal literature justifying reforming the church, she was importing French fashions. Oh, and she became Queen, and gave birth to the future Queen Elizabeth in there, too. Love her or hate her, you can't deny that she had a pretty packed life before she lost her head, even writing poetry in the Tower before her execution!
You can't do all that without some kind of pick me up. Anne didn't have coffee - it wouldn't make it's appearance in England really until the mid 17th century when the first coffee houses opened. Fortunately for you, you don't have the same issue, and you don't have to go through your own busy life unfortified with caffeine.
I know so many mornings I say, "yes, we'll get you dressed, I'll make breakfast, I'll pack your lunch, but first... coffee." This mug channels that sentiment, and is perfect for the Anne Boleyn fan in your life.
Remember, everything you buy is a Purchase with a Purpose, as I split 10% of profits between the local historical society in my hometown of Lancaster, PA, and funding microloans to women refugee entrepreneurs through Kiva.
