As we know, poor Cromwell’s downfall came after Henry couldn’t stand his “Flanders Mare” any longer and Cromwell’s enemies seized on Henry’s anger, and had him accused of treason. Henry married his fifth wife on the very same day Cromwell was executed. Not cool, Henry. Not cool.
