About the Artist

My life has been varied but always shaped by my love of art and history. I've a Masters degree in history (thesis -"The Vanishing Unicorn: a Study of Science vs. Superstition in Tudor Medicine") and a Masters degree in Library Science. I'm also a graduate of the Ontario College of Art (now the Ontario College of Art and Design University). For many years before retirement, I was employed as a programme librarian for the Oshawa Public Libraries. I enjoyed doing presentations there for all age groups, focusing on subjects such as "Titian's Cat," "Raphael's Women" and "The Mysteries of Leonardo."
